Purchasing Technical Support
Technical Support contracts are available at 3 different levels, Bronze, Silver and Gold. Each contract is restricted to two named users (one main point of contact and one to cover for absence) - both contacts should have been on an approved training course in the required software, or be able to demonstrate a reasonable level of technical knowledge.
On receipt of a completed application form we will contact you requesting the details of the named points of contact and send you the full terms and conditions. The following basic conditions apply for technical support:
- Technical Support is open weekdays 09:00-17:00 excluding Public Holidays
- Support Services expire after completion of the purchased number of 'incidents' or after a 12-month period
- Prices listed are for Microsoft Windows versions

"Days Back"
The idea of "Days Back" is that if you buy more support cover than you actually need, your money is not wasted - it buys you some training or consultancy time for the following year (excl. expenses). This time is to be used at any time within the following twelve-month period. So in the case of Silver level support, if you log 10 or less support incidents in the year then we give you one free place on a Salford GIS training course, OR one day's on site consultancy to be used as you see fit.
Gold level support works in the same way, but in this case if you log 20 or less support incidents then we give you 2 days back.
